EXHIBIT 3 <br />MINIMUM SITE STANDARDS FOR RADIO COMMUNICATIONS 8/24/1999 <br />1. All Transmitters shall be FCC type accepted for the intended application with <br />proper shielding. <br />2. . The installation of antennas shall be minimized using combiners and filters where <br />possible. <br />3. All antennas are subject to use by all subtenants using suitable combining <br />techniques at the Lessors' discretion. <br />4. If radio interference or intermodulation problems occur to Lessors equipment or <br />any other pre-existing users on site, additional protection devices may be <br />required: Subtenant shall bear sole responsibility for solving radio interference or <br />modulation problems caused by it. In the event that such problems occur, Lessor <br />reserves the right to direct the Subtenant to discontinue operations at the site <br />until such problems are resolved. The need for additional filtering equipment will <br />be determined on a case-by-case basis, and the cost of any additional devices <br />that may be required, with respect to interference caused by the Subtenant to <br />pre-existing equipment, shall be borne by Subtenant. Lessor reserves the right <br />to recommend any electronic devices required for elimination of system <br />interference.. Subtenant reserves the right to secure these devices in cases <br />where interference is caused to Subtenant <br />5.. Double shielded, double braided or heliax type coaxial cable is required from <br />radio equipment through isolators, band pass devices and duplexers, etc., to <br />heliax transmission line. No. RG - 8 type cable will be allowed. <br />a. Microflect or Lessor approved cable hardware shall be used. <br />6. Jacketed heliax transmission line is required. Unjacketed transmission line of <br />any type is prohibited. <br />7. Radio equipment must be rack- mounted, housed in metal cabinets and properly <br />grounded. Any deviation will be allowed only on a case-by-case basis- subject to <br />written approval of Lessor. <br />8. Only single frequency transmit and receive stations will be allowed. Any <br />deviations are subject to negotiations and approval of Lessor. <br />9. Signatory (Subtenant) to this Agreement hereby acknowledges the fact that <br />Lessor is the site manager. As the site manager, Lessor retains the right to <br />establish additional regulations from time to time as deemed necessary to <br />comply with good engineering design. Signatory (Subtenant) agrees that he will <br />comply with these additional regulations. <br />10. Equipment type and model listed in the Technical Data Sheet will not be changed <br />without authorization from Lessor. <br />
