In January 2010, The City initiated Task 1 (Northwest <br />Forest Enhancement Project) from the IGA by hiring ;a contractor to remove <br />blackberry and large quantities of English ivy from the remnant forest adjacent to <br />the ODOT construction site. Tasks 2 and 3 have not been initiated yet. Task 4 (Tree <br />Trimming) was initiated in the summer and fall of 2009. City of Eugene urban <br />forestry crews trimmed low hanging branches on trees along various access <br />routes to the construction site. <br />The City of Eugene Parks and Open Space Division is seeking reimbursement for <br />the Landscaping Services described above, which were conducted between <br />07/30/2009 and 04/15/2010. The attached invoice details the expenses for each <br />task.
