One of the <br />activities funded through the grant is habitat assessment and rare plant population <br />monitoring on lands owned by the Bureau of Land Management in the West Eugene <br />Wetlands. <br />This monitoring will be carried out by the Institute for Applied Ecology at a cost of <br />$35,000: Monitoring activities will be completed by 10/31/2009, and final reporting <br />will be completed by March 31, 2010. The Institute for Applied Ecology was <br />identified as the monitoring contractor in the NFWF grant application, and their <br />credentials and matching funds were part of the successful grant award. <br />The City will be reimbursed for the entire value of the contract by the grant funds <br />from NFWF. There will be no project cost to the City for this contract. <br />The work funded by this contract will be completed under GJN 100014. <br />Please sign the attached copies of the contract and, return them to Karleen Green <br />(x4802).
