The agreement may be known to the
University as Autzen /Alton Baker Parking (City of Eugene contract #1997 - 00406). Section 11 of the
agreement states that prior to the expiration of this agreement, the City shall evaluate the current agreement
for effectiveness, and modify or extend the agreement if agreeable to both parties.
The second intergovernmental agreement is titled Autzen Stadium Expansion — Parking, Transportation,
Parks and Related Issues (City of Eugene contract #2002 - 00307) and was signed on March 5, 2002.
Section 5.2.2, which expires at the end of calendar year 2007, gives the University the right to use the east
side of Leo Harris Parkway for parking on major stadium event days for an annual fee.
For the University to continue use of these areas for parking on major stadium event days past the end of
2007, amendments or new agreements will need to put into place. If the University is interested in
continuing to use City property as provided for in the agreements, please designate who will represent the
University's interests. We would be happy to schedule a first meeting to discuss potential extension of these
agreements upon receipt of your designee's contact information.
Sincerely,
Johnny R.
