Richard, I will assign a new contract number and start a personal services draft. Let me <br />know if you want me to have it for 3 years with the option to renew for a 2 year extension with annual reviews? <br />Our last contract started 2/1/2004 for two years with a 1 year extenstion. We processed 2 amendments to <br />extend the end date and 4 amendments increasing the scope of work and adding $. <br />Let me know how you will want to specify the terms and any attachments you want to include. After you <br />confirm they agree to the timeline, I'll fine tune the contract. Check the current contract to see how long it was in effect. I believe that the original <br />contract with Advanced Security was initially for one year but then was extended for a two -year period with a price <br />agreement. Kris probably remembers the details better than I do. If Advanced Security will sign an initial two -year or <br />three -year contract with an option to renew for a total of five years, that would be fine. Let me know. If it's more <br />appropriate for me (or for Jim) to contact the Eugene branch manager of ASI to discuss this before we send him any <br />paperwork, let me know. Set contract term up as you wish, five year maximum. <br />Annual renewal is standard but if they will hold price for a number of years so you don't need to renegotiate pricing that's <br />fine also, just work it out and specify term in contract. <br />Jim <br />
