The MOU is intended to "provide a general framework of cooperation and
coordination between the parties concerning the development and maintenance of the Eugene
to Pacific Crest Trail ", and as described in section 6, is a non -fund obligating document. The
old map shows the EPCT ending at Alton Baker Park, but current thinking is that it would
also tie into the Ridgeline Trail either across 30 and/or perhaps across the Knickerbocker
footbridge and then up through Hendricks Park. Parties and respective signatories include:
Willamette National Forest
Oregon Parks and Recreation Department
Lane County
City of Eugene
Eugene to Pacific Crest Trail Organization
City of Lowell
Dallas J Emch, Forest Supervisor
Tim Wood, Director
William Van Vactor, County Adminstrator
Dennis Taylor, City Manager
Deborah Harvey, President
Warren Weathers, Mayor
City of Oakridge
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
We've been asked to sign all eight copies, and then forward them all to the next person on the
list. Let me know if any additional information is required before sending this along for
Dennis' signature.
EUGENE
41
