L
John and Kris,
We have not yet processed the city contract. We need to make the changes I listed below. Let's talk so we can update the
contract. I am here Thursday and Friday of this week.
Can we roll over the approximate $2500 we will not spend from this year's contract into next, year? Is there any possibility
more than the $50,000 will be available?
THANKS
- - - -- Original Message---- -
From: SCHROEDER Lynne M
Sent: Saturday, May 27, 2006 11:36 AM
To: AANDERUD Kris
Cc: STERNER Matthew D; WALKER Patricia H
Subject: City of Eugene contract with Youth Services for parks work
Hi Kris,
I have the amendment No. 2 for the City of Eugene contract (2005- 05301) with Lane County; youth Services. I'm sorry for
the delay in getting back to you on this. I'm hoping some things can be added to the amendment to clarify.
1) In exhibit A, under time for completition, the dates need to be changed. The contract is being renewed for July 1, 2006
through June 30, 2007. 1 believe this is the third year of renewability, so that language probably should be dropped, as well.
2) Under consideration, we need a reference to the total amount available. Is it still $50,000, or is there more available this
year? I know there were some discussions about increasing the amount and expanding work.
Does this make sense? If you want to email me the changes I can replace them with what I have and process the contract.
We won't have authority to have the County Administrator sign the contract for next year until after the budget order is
processed in the third week of June. Is that comfortable for you to wait until then? It will be sitting on his desk, ready to go
at that time.
I'm out of the office May 29 -June 2 and return June 5th. If you need to speak with someone in the meantime, Matthew
Sterner should be around, 682 -4775.
Thanks!
Lynne Schroeder
Assistant Director
Lane County Youth Services
682 -4747
