Cela, can you confirm the acct code? <br />Once a contract is executed between a telecom provider and the City, it is up to the City staff to track the account, look for <br />contract sunset dates or review openings ,etc. As there is no contact person or number on tfie check or stub, and no <br />account code listed, the last known contact in my file is: 1- 908 - 532 -1310, Noreen Appleby, GRE Lease administration. <br />To assist in the future, perhaps Cela can call them to ask them to place the account code ON the check or check stub in <br />the future. <br />B TW - Cela and Neil - --- Assuming you have the contract on hand, you will notice that the Contract expires April 30, 2010 <br />and the contract indicates that no later than one year before expiration ATT may notify the City it wishes to renew the <br />contract (terms ARE renegotiable by the City). Please be thinking from a Parks perspective about whether there is <br />anything in the contract you wish to change (and it should be re- reviewed by the City atty anyway -I would suggest Ross <br />Williamson). Not knowing your plans for the park, I can't speculate. As for the fee, I think $4 -$5 remains somewhat <br />standard. <br />I think at some point after today, you might want to bring it to their attention if you wish to renegotiate the next term or <br />terminate and'coordinate the removal of their facilities.
