t
WEISS Cela W
To: FIELAND Kate A
Subject: RE: Contracts
Okay Kate, I pulled these files weeks back to review before going to John. Phew, just came back and regarding
92- 00734, Seuss, looks like Walt Hanuk had started the Second Amendment Extending Settlement Agreement
and Contract to Convey Easement, etc. in Feb. 1995 and got as far as Mike Gleason's signature. I will be
updating that agreement, the Demand Promissory Note, and Notice of Election to Renew 2nd amendment etc.
John wants to run it by the city attorney to review. He called Robert Suess to get a verbal ok that we are going in
the right direction and no changes etc. John will update a memo to city mgr from us explaining the agreement. I
will keep you posted. My question is do you want to assign a new number since it has expired. John would like to
keep the same number, 92- 00734. I'd like your opinion.
Reg: 88- 00740, Zarzycki, I will be typing up an addendum #4 to the contract extending the dates and run it though
for signatures. I will keep you current on status. Has any progress been made on either of these contracts. Just a reminder..we gave
been without a valid contract for Robert Seuss since 1/30/94 and the David Zarzycki terminated 6/30/95 and I
have now been bugging you since 10/96.
If you have not had the time to do these in over 4 years perhaps it could be assigned to someone else who does.
Please advise me of the status so I can get these OFF MY DESK. Kate
From: ETTER John F
To: FIELAND Kate A
Subject: RE: Contracts
Date: Thursday, April 30, 1998 7:49AM
No, but I'm down to only 15 hours of overtime on do -or -die stuff in this pay period with today to go. If the trend
continues I might might get this off my desk and back in the file about August - -John
From: FIELAND Kate A
To: ETTER John F
Subject: RE: Contracts
Date: Wednesday, April 29, 1998 3:18PM
So here is my monthly update...any progress on Zarzycki and Suess? Kate
From: ETTER John F
To: FIELAND Kate A
Cc: MEDLIN Johnny R
Subject: RE: Contracts
Date: Friday, March 27, 1998 8:48AM
Sorry for what is happening, Kate. I pulled the files out on
these Just before Jan 1, trying to follow thru on a New Year's
resolution. I've had a continual flow of work with higher
risk and negative political consequences if deadlines were not
met, with 18 hours of overtime so far in this half month pay
period just trying to keep up with the "hot fires." I won't
think of going back to normal overtime until these are
updated.
I did move to extend leases involving Bond Lane Park that
expire this month. They involve lease payments in a way that
the Suess and Zarzycki ones do not. It was my opinion that
Page 1
