EUGENE•OR.GOV /PARKS <br />Re: City of Eugene Contract: .'2005-b5322, Hammer Estates Subdivision ST 04 -01 <br />Dear Mr. Hammer: <br />Your street tree agreement with the City of Eugene for the above referenced <br />development requires that you maintain public, liability and property damage insurance. <br />Section 7 of the contract outlines the specific details of:the continuing insurance <br />requirements which include "combined single limit of not less than $1,000,000 and <br />$1,000,000 for damage to property.'' This insurance "shall protect the City and <br />Developer against claims of third parties." "Developer shall deliver to (the) City . <br />certificates of coverage from each insurer containing a stipulation_ that coverage will not <br />be canceled or diminished without a minimum of thirty (30) days' written notice to' City. <br />PARKS AND OPEN SPACE PLANNING <br />You provided the City with a certificate of insurance when the contract was first <br />executed. However,. we have not received an updated certificate of insurance since that <br />PARKS MAINTENANCE time. Please request that a current certificate of insurance be forwarded to the.City of <br />Eugene. Please ask your insurance provider to reference bothi the contract number and <br />URBAN FORESTRY development referenced above and to name the City as the certificate holder.
