Mark R
Subject:
Mountain Terrace Subdivision
Thanks for your call regarding the Mountain Terrace project on County Farm Road. The 5.8 acre parcel of land adjoining
Mountain Terrace to the south, tax lot #800, is owned by the City as part of the housing landbank inventory for future
affordable housing. We have agreed to dedicate right -of -way on TL #800 for the extension of Park View Drive to County
Farm Road.
We understand a street tree agreement is needed now for Mountain Terrace final approval. Development of the landbank
site, however, is not yet planned. If street trees are planted along the south side of the proposed Park View Drive
extension concurrently with the Mountain Terrace. development, the trees would have to be removed in order to later
develop housing on the landbank site. It makes more sense to delay planting of street trees on the south side of Park
View Drive until the landbahk site is developed.
We accept responsibility for providing street trees along the south side of the proposed Park View Drive extension when
we develop housing on TL #800: Please let me know if this is acceptable.
Sunna' Murray, Development Analyst
Neighborhoods, Housing & Community Development
1
