Public Works
Parks and Open Space Division
MEMORANDUM
Date: September 24, 2010
To: Johnny Medlin
From: Richard Zucker
City of Eugene
1820 Roosevelt Boulevard
Eugene, Oregon 97402
(541) 682 -4800
(541) 682 -4882 FAX
www. eugene-or.gov/parks
Subject: Converting Developer -plant Street Tree Agreement (Contract 2000 - 00431) to City -plant
Street Tree Agreement (Contract #2011 - 05351)
Attached is a contract for your review and approval. The contract converts an existing Developer -plant
Street Tree Agreement (Option B) to a City -plant Street Tree Agreement (Option A) for the remaining
seven lots in a small subdivision. In return for releasing the developer's bond, the City will receive $7.12
per linear foot of unplanted right -of -way in addition to administrative fees for a total of $5,961.40.
The size and scope of the contract do not place an undue burden on City resources and is in the best
interest of the urban forest. The new agreement has been reviewed by the urban forester and by the
technical staff of Urban Forestry Operations.
If you have any questions, please call me at extension 4822 or at (541) 912 -9330. Thank you.
