( 114Ii )
J;i 1
I141iI
a division of Public Works
1820 Roosevelt Blvd.
Eugene, Oregon 97402
Memorandum
Date: September 20, 2008
To: Kurt Corey, PW Director
Johnny Medlin, POS Division Manager
From: Rob Hallett, Turf and Grounds Supervisor
Subject: Public Improvement Contract with Wildish Construction
(541) 682 -4800
(541) 682-4882 Fax
www.ci.eugene.or.us/pw/parks
Attached is a Public Improvement Contract with Wildish Construction Company for your review and
approval. This memo gives an overview of the work that will be performed by Wildish pertaining to the
Laurelwood Golf Course cart path improvements. More specific details of construction are described in the
bid documents (Exhibit B) for this project.
The primary scope of this project is to remove and realign a portion (approx. 230 ft.) of the paved cart path
nearest to the club house heading down to fairway 41 and the driving range. Current grades and pavement
conditions make this section of path hazardous to navigate during wet weather. The new alignment design
calls for switch -backs to lessen path steepness.
This project is scheduled for completion by October 31, 2010.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
-Rob Hallett
EUGENEr
