PERMIT STIPULATIONS <br />Pursuant to ORS 497.298 and OAR 635-43-023 to 045, a Scientific Taking Pemut: <br />1. Is not transferable unless otherwise stipulated. <br />2. Is to be carried on person when collecting. <br />3. Cannot be used in lieu of hunting or trapping license. <br />4. Does not authorize trespassing without landowner's permission. <br />5. Is not valid to take (kill, capture, salvage) any state or federal endangered or threatened <br />species. <br />6. Is not valid in any refuge, park, city, wildlife area or area posted closed to collecting <br />without written approval of manager or administrator. <br />7. Permit expires on December 31 of the year of issuance. <br />Additional Stipulations: <br />1. Federal permit is also required to collect/handle/salvage any migratory bird or marine <br />animal. A state permit will not be issued until all federal permits required have been <br />obtained. This includes incidental take permits (e.g., electro-shocking for amphibians in <br />stream with listed fish). <br />2. Any wildlife taken on this permit and held in captivity shall not be released without <br />ODFW approval. <br />3. An Annual Report listing species, number, final disposition and location of animals taken <br />must be submitted within 30 days of the expiration of the permit. If part of a study, please <br />submit findings when available. Applicants requesting to renew a permit <br />must complete all portions of the application. ODFW needs an updated research project paper <br />or otherwise substantiating information with each renewal, even for on-going projects. <br />Incomplete applications will be returned for completion. <br />
