RECEWED <br />AU G 18 1983 <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE I4ETROPOLIT;WTiA%S"WMffl S MANAGEMENT <br />COMMISSION AND THE CITY OF SPRING1Cf13fDELjGM PROVISION OF <br />ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES TO THE COMMISSION BY THE CITY <br />THIS AGREEMENT is entered into by and between the METROPOLITAN <br />WASTEWATER MANAGEMENT COMMISSION, an intergovernmental agency <br />hereinafter referred to as MS9MC, and the CITY OF SPRINGFIELD, <br />a municipal corporation of the State of Oregon,'hereinafter referred <br />to as CITY. <br />THIS AGREEMENT effectuates the understanding of MWMC and <br />CITY for the CITY to provide administrative services to MWMC. This <br />understanding and agreement is more generally described and set <br />forth .im the "Transition Report" dated March, 1983, entitled <br />Assumption of Administrative Services for the Metropolitan Waste- <br />water Management Commission. <br />THIS AGREEMENT is also executed by the CITY OF EUGENE by <br />which execution the CITY OF EUGENE agrees to comply with the requirements <br />of Paragraph II C. <br />1. 114 CC14SIDERATION for the agreements made herein by MWMC <br />and in further consideration of implementing the "Transition Report" <br />agreed upon between the cities of Eugene and Springfield, Lane County <br />and MW11C, CITY agrees as follows: <br />A. CITY shall provide the Administrative Services to JnmC <br />more specifically described and set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto <br />and incorporated herein by reference. <br />B. CITY shall initially provide an organizational structure <br />for ffi96!C consistent with or substantially equivalent to Phase I <br />of Option 4 as set forth on pages 21 and 22 and Appendix K to the <br />
