® AMENDMENT <br />m COUNTY/CITY OTIA III REVENUE SHARING AGREEMENT <br />THIS AMENDED AGREEMENT entered into by and between the CITY OF <br />EUGENE, a municipal corporation existing under the laws of the State of Oregon <br />(hereinafter referred to as "City") and LANE COUNTY, a political subdivision of the <br />State of Oregon (hereinafter referred to as "County"). <br />WITNESSETH: <br />1. On May 19, 2004, the Board of County Commissioners approved sharing the new <br />OTIA III maintenance funds with the cities in Lane County for three years. <br />2. CITY AND COUNTY are parties to an agreement effective as of July 1, 2004, known <br />as the "County/City OTIA III Revenue Sharing Agreement" (hereinafter referred to as <br />"the Agreement") <br />3. The COUNTY expects to receive approximately $600,000 in OTIA III maintenance <br />and preservation funding in FY 03-04, and approximately $1,400,000 in FY 04-05 <br />and FY 05-06. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED, BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE <br />COUNTY: <br />3. Paragraph number 1, in the section headed "PARTIES AGREE:" is amended to read <br />as follows: <br />That this agreement shall terminate on August 15, 2006, or by action of the Board of <br />County Commissioners when reauthorization of the Secure Rural Schools and <br />Community Self Determination Act of 2000 is resolved by Congress, whichever <br />comes first. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties, acting through their duly designated and <br />authorized representatives have executed this amendment. <br />CIT OF EUGENE <br />:AK <br />By. <br />Dennis Taylor <br />City Manager <br />Date: ~o <br />LANE COUNTY <br />By. <br />William A.
