EROSION PERMIT ANNUAL COMPLIANCE FEE NOTICE
Dear Customer:
531- 9 33 ? - Z -965 432
Our records indicate you currently have an active erosion permit. There is an Annual Compliance Fee
(Administrative Order No. 58-03-04-F) for building sites that need to extend construction beyond a 12 month
time frame. The purpose of this fee is to recover costs associated with the on-going monitoring required to
ensure each site is meeting the required ersosion prevention outcomes.
The Annual Compliance fee is one half of the original permit fee. For example, if your original permit cost $120.00,
the Annual Compliance Fee is $60.00. Note that a(n) 8% administrative fee is charged to the total of all fees
collected. The total fee payment due on your permit is listed above.
Payment is due within 30 days of the above date, and may be made in person at the Permit and Information
Center located at 99 W. 10th Ave. during regular business hours, or by mail to:
City of Eugene
99 W. 10th Ave.
Eugene, OR 97401
Please make checks payable to the City of Eugene and include the permit number shown above with your check.
Failure to pay the annual compliance fee of $405.00 within 30 days of the date of this letter will
result in this matter being submitted to the Finance Department for further collection and may be
referred to a collection agency.
You may avoid the annual compliance fees by "finalizing" your permit. The site must be completely stabilized and
all erosion control measures removed from the site. Once this is complete you can call for an inspection request
and schedule a final inspection of the site. If the final inspection is approved the permit will be "finalized" and no
payment of fees will be required. Upon the completion of the final inspection the inspector will contact you with the
result of the inspection.
If you have any questions regarding this information or would like to schedule an inspection please contact
Steve Norris at 541-682-8423 or Ed Fredette at 541-682-8471.
JUL 2 7 2010
Annual Compliance Fee Notice Page 1 of 1
