The types of ~pportgnities available are educational arid, <br />in-house trainin ro ram t-for nizati n trainin and rofessional membershi s. gp g s,au o ga o g, p p <br />E~c~tia~n~~ ~~d <br />E Following are guidelines managers should fallow when deciding to approve requQSts for financial <br />assistance to an employee who completes academic, vocational, or adult education courses to acquire <br />additional skills and knowledge directly related to their current job and/or assist them to advance or <br />transfer to another position within the organization. <br />Departments are primarily responsible for the administratign of educational funds. Each department <br />should set aside funds to be used for educational a'rd wifhin their travel and training budget. A form is <br />' required showing department approval ,prior to enrollment.
