10 Month Warranty Inspection

The project listed below will satisfy its one year warranty obligation in the next 60 days. Please
provide a warranty inspection on the project.

It is the intent of this e-mail to coordinate the inspection efforts of the PWE and PWM staff on all
Capitol Improvement Plan (CIP) projects and Privately Engineered Public Improvement (PEPI)
projects prior to the expiration of the one year warranty period. In general, the role of the PWM
Staff will be to provide expertise, advice, and assistance to the PWE Staff by performing a final
inspection of the below listed project within the next four (4) weeks. It is the responsibility of the
PWM supervisors to e-mail deficiencies to the inspector initiating this e-mail. It is the
responsibility of the inspector to compile all deficiencies and review them with the Construction
Manager prior to contacting the prime contractor. If you do not respond to this e-mail within four
weeks we will assume you found no deficiencies.

At the time of this request it is the responsibility of the PWE inspector to provide to PWM a
usable cover sheet, in a size appropriate to the scope of the project, with the infrastructure
numbers and locations indicated when lines are to be tv’d.

The job number is no longer active and is listed as a reference number only.

Responsibility for administering the project and enforcing project requirements remains with the
PWE Staff and all communication with the contractor will go through the project inspector who
initiated this e-mail or through the PWE Construction Managers.

Please call if you have any questions.

: 2009
Job Name
Wastewater Rehabilitation Point Repair Project

: :
Contract NumberJob Number
2009-244594

: 10/9/2010
One Year Warranty Will Expire On

:
Contractor
H & J Construction

:
Inspector & Phone Number
Karl Kreutzer / 541-682-8466

:
Project & Description

Landscape Storm Drain Wastewater Curb & Gutter
Sidewalk HMAC Erosion Control Illumination
Traffic Signals Permanent Signs Permanent Striping
Mechanical Storm Water Facility Vegetated Storm Water Facility
Other
C:\Documents and Settings\cewatds\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.Outlook\PQ0LEGKQ\4594-20100803-10 MONTH
WARRANTY INSPECTIONkbk.doc
