MEMO <br />E U G E N E <br />Parks and <br />Open Space <br />TO: Johnny Medlin, Parks and Open Space Director <br />FROM: Trevor Taylor, AIC Natural Resources Section Manager <br />DATE: July 1, 2010 <br />Keeping Eugene Green <br />SUBJECT: Signing Memorandum of Agreement with Les Roberts at Mariposa <br />Woodland <br />A DIVISION OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />The City of Eugene would like to enter an agreement with Les Roberts, a private <br />1820 ROOSEVELT BLVD <br />property owner near Mariposa Woodland, to permit the City to cross his property <br />EUGENE, OREGON 97402 <br />temporarily. Currently, a youth crew, funded through the 2010 OYCC grant, is <br />(541) 682A000 <br />rehabilitating a trail segment at Mariposa Woodland and will subsequently be <br />FAX 1541) 682 -4882 <br />restoring oak and pine habitat in the area. Both of these projects will be facilitated <br />by the use of a gravel road constructed by EWEB across Mr. Robert's property. Mr. <br />WWW EUGENE- OR.GOV /PARRS <br />Roberts has agreed to allow access across his property at no cost to the City for the <br />purposes of gravel delivery and wood removal. The agreement will terminate at the <br />end of the project, no later than October 31", 2010.
