Sally and Chuck - Plans and specifications for the project will be headed your way in the
next day or two for a final review. They will then be going out to quote thereafter for
construction in September as discussed.
A few items for consideration and clarification -

* The task order for this project has a budget period of July 1, 2009
through September 30, 2010. Right now I've identified the construction period as September 7
(after Labor Day weekend) to September 24. However pay will not be issued until October,
some of the final compaction work may be best accomplished in October, and it leaves little
lee-way if anything unforeseen comes up. If the funds are allocated and the work is
contracted for prior to September 30 does that provide compliance with budget period
requirements? Or do all funds need to be expended prior to the end of that period? If
needed we will need to adjust the project timeline accordingly.

* Is there any issue with allowing the Contractor to park and
possibly stage equipment at the BLM office location adjacent to the project?

* Do you have any decision/ direction on whether the existing trail
extension at the north end of the project should be removed or left in place?

* At some point I'll need to contract the property owner east of the
site regarding access via their private street for access to the bicycle path. If you have
their contact information that would be great.

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.

ADAM R.
