The funding from this grant <br />will be used to forma 6-person Waterway Enhancement team. The Waterway Enhancement team <br />will focus on small restoration projects along Amazon Creek and other natural areas in the City. The <br />project will begin in late June and run for 8 to 9 weeks. <br />This grant is funded in part by with federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of <br />2009 and in part with federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and is a one time funding source <br />aimed at creating employment for youth and supporting adults up to 24 years old. <br />The funding by this grant will be completed under grant code 676 and there is no City match. <br />
