The funding from this grant <br />will be used to forma 6-person Ridgeline Enhancement team. The Ridgeline Enhancement team <br />will provide ladder fuels reduction and trail enhancement activities at Mariposa Woodlands, on the <br />north slope of Spencer Butte. The project will begin in late June and run for 8 to 9 weeks. <br />This grant is funded in part by with federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of <br />2009 and in part with federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and is a one time funding source <br />aimed at creating employment for youth and supporting adults up to 24 years old. <br />The funding by this grant will be completed under grant code 677 and there is no City match. <br />
