SMITH Tammy D <br />From: <br />SHOEMAKER Lee <br />Sent: <br />Wednesday, April 07, 2010 9:09 AM <br />To: <br />SMITH Tammy D <br />Cc: <br />INERFELD Rob; MUMAU CindyJ <br />Subject: <br />New PW Budget Items <br />We need two preliminary engineering projects added to the PW budget: <br />• Fern Ridge Path Rehabilitation and Lighting, Chambers to Arthur - $61,378 <br />• North Bank Path Rehabilitation and Lighting, DeFazio Bridge to Frohnmayer Bridge - $154,379 <br />The Oregon Department of Transportation has recommended funding for these projects and the Oregon Transportation <br />Commission (OTC) is expected to make it official on April 21St. The funding will be available after OTC approves the <br />project this month and design work will be-completed by January 2011. ODOT payments will be made as a <br />reimbursement for City of Eugene expenditures. <br />There may be some cost efficiencies by combining these projects into one contract. There will be an IGA developed by <br />ODOT and approved by both parties.
