<br />MAJOR ROAD CONSTRUCTION REPORT FOR LANE COUNTY <br /> <br />Contact: Morgan McFadden, City of Eugene Public Works Construction Coordinator, #682-8421 <br /> <br />Major road construction for the week of October 25, 2009. Schedule is subject to change due to <br />weather delays. <br /> <br />EUGENE <br />Chad Drive Extension (Old Coburg Road) <br />: The contractor plans to finish pavement markings, <br />landscaping and site clean-up. Old Coburg Road will continue to be closed to all traffic except for <br />access to Old Coburg Road residences. The contractor may also be installing a traffic signal on <br />North Game Farm Road at the new intersection which may cause traffic delays. Please use caution <br />when traveling through the area. <br /> <br />Crest Drive (from Lincoln Street to Storey Boulevard) <br />: The contractor’s work is complete for <br />2009. There may be ongoing utility work on the rest of Crest Drive, Storey Boulevard and Friendly <br />th <br />Street (Lorane Highway to 28 Avenue) until the contractor starts work again next spring. <br /> <br />Maple Street from Roosevelt Boulevard to Elmira Road and Elmira Road from Maple Street <br />to Bertelsen: <br /> Most of the project is complete but there are a few miscellaneous items left, including <br />signs, landscaping, some striping, planting of street trees and installation of new street lights. Expect <br />construction crews to be in the area for short durations for the next few weeks. Expect minimal <br />delays. <br /> <br /> <br />SPRINGFIELD <br /> <br />Pioneer Parkway East (between Centennial Boulevard and the Hayden Bridge Roundabout): Traffic <br />may be restricted to one lane during the day. Also, the connector road between Pioneer Parkway East <br />and West north of Q Street is closed until early November.
