CALL FOR BIDS <br />BID NO. 32 <br />Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon will receive sealed bids until Thursday, <br />February 11, 2010, until the Bid Closing time of 2:00 p.m. at the office of the City Engineer, 99 East Broadway <br />Suite 400, Eugene, Oregon. The Bid Opening will be at 2:05 p.m., on Thursday, February 11, 2010, at the above <br />location, at which time and place those Bids will be opened and read. <br />Job STORM REHABILITATION <br />4674 2010 Pavement Preservation Program Storm Rehabilitation at various locations (1 EA Major <br />Adjustment of Manholes; 125 FT 10" PVC Pipe; 45 FT 12" PVC Pipe; 110 FT 10" C900 Pipe; 10 FT <br />10" Concrete Pipe; 15 FT 11" Concrete Pipe; 20 FT 18" Concrete Pipe; 2 EA Concrete Manhole, Flat <br />Top; 105 TON Level 3, Dense, HMAC; 1,220 SF Plain Concrete PVMT, Doweled, 8" Thick). <br />Work shall not begin prior to March 8, 2010. <br />Work on High Street, W. V Avenue and Garfield Street shall be completed by April 12, 2010. <br />Work on E. 33`a Avenue, Hawkins Lane, and 13"` Avenue shall be completed by April 23, 2010. <br />Plans and specifications may be reviewed and/or obtained at the office of the City Engineer, 99 East Broadway Suite <br />400, Eugene, Oregon 97401, for a non-refundable fee of $15.00 plus $6.50 postage. For other reviewing locations <br />and any questions regarding the project please call (541) 682-5291, or use our Engineering Bid Website www.eugene- <br />or.gov/PW to review Plans and Specifications. <br />Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bidder's bond payable to the City of Eugene in an <br />amount equal to ten percent of the amount bid. Filing of a qualification questionnaire before bidding will not be <br />required. Contingent or conditional bids will not be considered for acceptance. This public works improvement <br />project is subject to payment of prevailing rate of wages, per BOLT ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. No bid will be <br />received or considered unless the bid contains a statement by the bidder that provisions of ORS 279C.800 to <br />279C.870 pertaining to prevailing wage rates shall be complied with. <br />Bidders are required to submit a First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure form, substantially as described in ORS <br />279C.370, prior to the Bid Closing Date and Time.
