Rodrigues <br />244 East Broadway <br />Eugene, OR 97401 <br />Via Email: matt.j.rodrigues@ci.eugene.or.us <br />City of Eugene Contract #2010-00220 <br />Exhibit B-Scope of Work <br />Re: Proposal to Provide a Corridor Study <br />Key Number 16866- 11th Ave and 13th Ave <br />City Job #4567 & 4664 <br />PBS Proposal No. PR51646.000 <br />Dear Mr. Rodriques; <br />PBS Engineering + Environmental (PBS) is pleased to submit this proposal to provide Environmental <br />Site Assessment services for the above-referenced sites. It is understood that there are two study <br />areas: West 11th Ave, from Garfield to Tyinn Street, and 13th Avenue from Washington to Alder Streets. <br />The following scope of work and fees are based on our understanding of current site conditions and <br />usage. <br />PROJECT APPROACH: <br />The scope of work for this project will follow the Initial Site Assessment guidelines set forth in the <br />Hazardous Waste Guide for Project Development document produced by the American Association of <br />State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), 1990. The assessment will include a review of <br />applicable environmental databases, a review of readily available records to document the past and <br />current uses of the subject property and adjoining properties, interviews with persons with knowledge of <br />the site, a site reconnaissance, and a final report summarizing our findings and conclusions. <br />Task 1: Corridor Study <br />PBS shall prepare a draft Corridor Study report summarizing the information obtained through Work <br />Tasks 1 a, 1 b and 1 c. PBS shall complete Work conducted for the Corridor Study according to generally <br />accepted environmental procedures as outlined in the "Hazardous Waste Guide for Project <br />Development" (1990), by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials <br />(AASHTO) Special Committee on Environment, Archaeology and Historic Preservation. <br />Task 1a: Environmental Database Search <br />PBS shall review available federal and State environmental records for identified hazardous waste sites <br />using government web-based databases OR using a commercial. database search report. PBS shall <br />use the search radii set forth below.
