Businesses participate by encouraging their employees to <br /> bike, walk, carpool, or utilize the bus service during the week competing <br /> against like-size businesses based on number of employees to obtain the <br /> highest percentage of employees participating. <br /> tasks <br /> ¦ Provide information and incentives, such as free bus passes, to <br /> participating employers to help encourage participation of their <br /> employees. <br /> ¦ Work with Point-2-Point Solutions to expand the program from Eugene <br /> to the entire MPO. <br /> Products <br /> ? Eye-to-Eye Safety Campaign <br /> ....Eye-to-Eye Traffic .Safety Campaign is a multi-city effort to foster a <br /> culture of awareness and respect on our shared paths and roadways and <br /> to make the streets of our communities safer for everyone. Along with <br /> encouraging respect. on the roadway, the Eye to Eye message will be used <br /> in conjunction with specific information to educate all road users in what <br /> they can do to be safe, .including making eye contact with and <br /> communicating with other road users, looking for bicyclists and stopping <br /> for pedestrians, using lights at night, and following-traffic laws. <br /> Tasks <br /> ¦ Develop outreach plan to include community education events.
