Continue to meet requirements of SAFETEA-LU <br /> and/or subsequent federal regulations in a manner consistent with. state and local <br /> plans and requirements. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> Work in FYI 0 will include maintenance of the 203 I RTP and providing assistance <br /> to adopting agencies to implement the plan. Preparation for the development of <br /> the 2035 RTP has started and will continue in FYI 0 through FY I I . Completion <br /> and adoption of the 2035 RTP will occur in mid-FYI 2, beyond the. two years <br /> covered under this work program. <br /> Significant work efforts in both fiscal years will focus on development of a new <br /> state-mandated Regional Transportation System Plan (RTSP) and development of <br /> .updates to the local Transportation System Plans .(TSP) for the cities of Coburg, <br /> Eugene and Springfield. Also included in this work area is implementation and <br /> refinement of the MPO's Congestion Management Process (CMP), <br /> .implementation and refinement of the Regional Intelligent Transportation System <br /> (ITS) Plan, and work on other discreet elements of the RTP. <br /> Over the next two years the MPO will also start to consider and plan for the <br /> likely expansion of the MPO/TMA boundary, and the resulting inclusion of one <br /> or more additional local jurisdictions in the MPO, as the result of findings from <br /> the 2010 census. <br /> ACTION ITEMS (LCOG) <br /> Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) <br /> Tasks Year 1 <br /> ¦ Develop framework for next update of RTP; delineate significant policy, <br /> financial, project and other elements of the -RTP that will be the focus of <br /> the update effort. <br /> ¦ Develop draft refinements to plan policy/project elements consistent with <br /> direction from elected officials and input from the public including <br /> elements related to freight planning, congestion management and <br /> transportation demand management, among others. <br /> Central Lane MP0 Unified Planning Work Program FY 2010 and 2011 <br /> <br />
