The first
Breakfast at the Bridges this year was held June 19 on the Amazon bike path at 24th Avenue
and was a great success with an estimated 50 cyclists stopping by.
Breakfast at the Bridges is a share-the-path event sponsored by the City of Eugene and
the Eye to Eye campaign. The event is designed for bike path users and commuters to stop by
on their way to work or during a morning ride, grab a quick bite to eat and a cup of coffee, meet
City staff, learn more about biking in Eugene, and get a quick safety check all at the same time.
The event features local advocacy organizations working with the City of Eugene, along with
other local businesses providing breakfast and bike repairs.
Special thanks to all the volunteers and local business donors who make these events
possible: Wandering Goat Coffee Company, Springfield Creamery, Bagel Sphere, Collin’s
Cycle Shop, Wheel Works, Paul’s Bicycle Way of Life, Revolution Cycles, GEARs, Bike Lane
Coalition, and Safe Routes to School.
