<br />Notice is hereby given that tlae City Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon will receive sealed bids until Tuesday, June 16,
<br />2009, until the Bid Closing time of 2:00 p.m. at the office of the City Engineer, 99 East Broadway Suite 400, Eugene, Oregon.
<br />The Bid Opening will be at 2:05 p.m., on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at the above location, at which time and place those Bids will
<br />be opened and read.

<br />Twenty (20) Work days will be allowed and all work shall be completed by August 28, 2009.
<br />The above jobs (4581 & 4610) will be awarded as one contract.
<br />Plans and specifications may be reviewed and/or obtained at the office of the City Engineer, 99 East Broadway, Eugene, Oregon
<br />97401, for anon-refundable fee of $15.00 plus $6.50 postage. For other reviewing locations and any questions regarding the

<br />Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bidder's bond payable to the City of Eugene in an amount equal •
<br />to ten percent of the amount bid. Filing of a qualification questionnaire before bidding will not be required. Contingent or con-
<br />ditional bids will not be considered for acceptance. This public works improvement project is subject to payment of prevailing
<br />rate of wages, per BOLI ORS 279C.800 to' 279C.870. No bid will be received or considered unless the bid contains a statement
<br />by the bidder that provisions of ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 pertaining to prevailing wage rates shall be complied with.
<br />Bidders are required to submit aFirst-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure form, substantially as described in ORS 279C.370, prior to
<br />the Bid Closing Date. and Time. For this project the first-tier subcontractor disclosure statement must be submitted regardless of
<br />the'bid amount."
<br />No bid will be accepted by the City unless it contains a statement by the bidder as a part of the bid that the bidder in carrying out
<br />the contract will comply with all applicable laws.
<br />The City may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for
<br />good cause any or all bids or to waive any specification or requirement upon a fmding of the City that it is in the public interest to
<br />do so.
