<br />Complete all Work to be done under the Contract on Stage 1: Crest Drive (Station 33 +00 — 49 +00) and Crest Drive
<br />(Spur) (1 +00 — 3 +50), except for Stage 1 plantings and establishment periods, not later than October 1, 2009. Stage
<br />1 plantings shall be complete by October 20, 2009. Stage 1 Plant Establishment shall be complete by October 20,
<br />2010. Complete the remaining Work (Stage 2), except remaining plantings and establishment period not later than
<br />October 1, 2010. Stage 2 plantings shall be complete by October 20, 2010. Stage 2 Plant Establishment shall be
<br />complete by October 20, 2011.
<br />Plans and specifications may be reviewed and/or obtained at the office of the City Engineer, 99 East Broadway, Eugene,
<br />Oregon 97401, for a non - refundable fee of $20.00 plus $6.50 postage. For other reviewing locations and any questions
<br />regarding the project please call (541) 682 -5560, or use our Engineering Bid Website www.eugene- or.gov/PW to review
<br />Plans and Specifications.
<br />Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bidder's bond payable to the City of Eugene in an
<br />amount equal to ten percent of the amount bid. Filing of a qualification questionnaire before bidding will not be required.
<br />Contingent or conditional bids will not be considered for acceptance. This public works improvement project is subject
<br />to payment of prevailing rate of wages, per BOLI ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. No bid will be received or considered
<br />unless the bid contains a statement by the bidder that provisions of ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 pertaining to prevailing
<br />wage rates shall be complied with.
<br />Bidders are required to submit a First -Tier Subcontractor Disclosure form, substantially as described in ORS 279C.370,
<br />prior to the Bid Closing Date and Time. For this project the first -tier subcontractor disclosure statement must be submitted
<br />regardless of the bid amount."
<br />No bid will be accepted by the City unless it contains a statement by the bidder as a part of the bid that the bidder in
<br />carrying out the contract will comply with all applicable laws.
<br />The City may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may
<br />reject for good cause any or all bids or to waive any specification or requirement upon a finding of the City that it is in the
<br />public interest to do so.
