It's been
ongoing for about a year but finally came to be. I will give Philip a copy of the map at our meeting this morning. If you
have any other questions, please let me know.
Also, we have received the $1,000 check from EWEB for the utility easement crossing the southeast corner of Sterling
Woods park. l will walk it up to Valerie for depositing but wanted to know what fund you want it credited to? 1 believe
Sterling Woods was an SDC acquisition. Thanks. The purpose of the deed is to adjust the property line between
existing City Ridgeline Park Property in southwest Eugene and an adjoining parcel which is owned by The Nature
Conservancy. The net affect is a conveyance of about .82 of an acre from the TNC parcel to the City. This is a
desirable addition to the Parks holdings to provide more flexibility for the development of the ridgeline trail through this
area. I will include a map which illustrates the subject area. We will. share some of the survey costs, but TNC is
conveying it to us for no compensation. TNC explained they are approaching the expiration date for the lock on the
financing involved with the pending sale of the remainder property and have asked if we could process this at our earliest
onvenience. TNC is selling the remainder parcel which includes a house, but recognized how desirable it would be to
-,nave this subject area become City ownership. If anyone has any further questions, please don't hesitate to call or email
me. Thanks. Russ 5264
1
