PWR SURVEY WAGE RATE APPEAL <br /> PROCESS <br /> 1) Anyone wishing to challenge or appeal a survey rate determination should submit their <br /> <br /> I requestin~writing to the commissioner. <br /> 2) The appeal should include: - <br /> a) a complete description of the "problem," including the affected trade(s), and <br /> documentation. or evidence (if available) supporting why the rate determination is <br /> incorrect <br /> b) recommendations for :how fhe rate. could be .more accurately determined. <br /> 3) The written appeal will be reviewed by the Wage and Hour Division which will recommend <br /> to the commissioner a course of action and proposed time frame for addressing the issue <br /> (such as a recommendation that further information be obtained, an investigation or study <br /> of the matter be conducted, a rate amendment or correction be issued, the next. survey be <br /> ..modified, etc.). <br /> 4) The commissioner will review the division's recommenda#ion and either approve, <br /> disapprove or modify the recommendation. (The PWR Advisory Committee may be <br /> consulted in some matters as deemed appropriate by the commissioner.) <br /> 5) The requesting party will be notified of the commissioner's decision. <br /> PAGE 3 JANUARY 1, 2009 <br /> <br />
