NOTICE OF INTENDED RULEMAKING <br />PROPOSED ADOPTION OF STANDARDS FOR TRAFFIC IMPACT <br />ANALYSES (TIA) ADMINISTRATIVE RULE R-9.8650. <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the authority contained in Section 2.019 <br />and Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Manager of the City of Eugene, intends to adopt <br />Standards for Traffic Impact Analyses (TIA) Administrative Rule R-9.8650 that: <br />Reiterates when a TIA is required under provisions of the Eugene Code, 1971; <br />establishes the items that are required to be addressed and contained in a TIA; and <br />incorporates reference materials that may assist applicants in preparation of a TIA. <br />The proposed rules are necessary in order to ensure the orderly implementation of newly <br />adopted provisions of Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code,1971, and may be reviewed at the office of the <br />Public Works Department, Administration Division, 858 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401 during <br />normal business hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays). <br />All persons wishing to comment thereon or object thereto must submit their comments or <br />objections to the City's Public Works Department, Administration Division, 858 Pearl Street, <br />Eugene, Oregon 97401, in writing, within fifteen (15) days of the date of the first publication hereof, <br />as indicated below The City Manager will thereafter adopt the rules as proposed, or as modified in <br />response to comments received, to be effective as provided therein. <br />JAMES R.
