NOTICE OF INTENDED AMENDMENT OF INDUSTRIAL <br />PRETREATMENT PROGRAM FEES <br />To: The Mayor and City Councilors of the City of Eugene, and other interested persons. <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the provisions of Sections 2.020 and 6.546 <br />of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Manager pro tem of the City of Eugene intends to amend the <br />Industrial Pretreatment Program fee schedule adopted by Administrative Order No. 58-97-17-F by <br />increasing the annual discharge permit fee and discontinuing the grease trap waste surcharge, as set <br />forth below: <br />INDUSTRIAL PRETREATMENT PROGRAM FEES <br />Current Pro on sed <br />Annual discharge permit ............ $360.00 $435.00. <br />The proposed fees are consistent with applicable policies and directives of the City Council, <br />including those developed during the Eugene Decisions process, and the provisions of Section 6.546 <br />of the Eugene Code, 1971, that require fees be established that reduce the City's costs associated <br />with setting up and operating the pretreatment program; establishing sampling, monitoring, <br />inspection, and surveillance procedures; reviewing accidental discharge procedures and controls; and <br />processing permit applications. <br />Persons desiring to comment hereon shall submit written comments to the City Manager's <br />Office, 777 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401, within 15 days from the date of publication and <br />posting indicated below.
