. ~r <br />ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 58-02-21 <br />of the <br />AIItPORT MANAGER <br />CONCERNING NOTICE OF PROPOSED REVISION OF SECTIONS 2, 4 <br />AND 5 OF THE AIRPORT FEE SCHEDULE CONCERNING COUNTER <br />FEE, GATE/HOLD ROOl~i/RAMP PARHING FEE, LANDING FEES, AND <br />TERMINAL RENTAL RATE. <br />The Airport Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows: <br />A. Authority is granted to the City Manager of the City of Eugene under Sections 2.440 <br />to 2.442 of the Eugene Code, 1971 to set fees and chazges for the use of the Eugene Airport. The <br />City Manager has further delegated that authority to the Airport Manager under Airport Rule 8.4.2. <br />B. Pursuant to that delegated authority Administrative OrderNo. 58-02-13-F was issued <br />on June 5, 2002 (effective June 16, 2002) revising and ratifying the Airport Fee Schedule. attached <br />as Exhibit A thereto. The gate/hold room/ramp pazking at the terminal fee, counter fee, landing fees, <br />and terminal building rental rate are set forth in Sections 2, 4, and 5 of that Fee Schedule. <br />C. After investigating the fees charged at other airports, the City's policies on recovery <br />of actual costs of providing services, and the revenue needs of the Eugene Airport, I have determined <br />.that those fees referenced in Finding B above should be increased, and Sections 2, 4, and 5 of the <br />- Airport Fee Schedule amended as set forth in the Notice of Intended Amendment of the Airport Fee <br />Schedule attached as Exhibit A hereto. The proposed fee increases are based on the actual costs <br />incurred by the City. <br />On the basis of these findings, I order that: <br />1. Copies of the Notice be provided to the Mayor and City Councilors, persons who <br />have requested notice, persons who are currently paying such charges, posted at two locations at the <br />Airport, published in the Register Guard, a newspaper of general circulation within the City and be <br />made available for inspection by interested persons at the offices of the Airport Manager, 28855 <br />Lockheed Drive, Eugene, Oregon 97402 during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., <br />Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays). <br />2. All persons. desiring to comment thereon shall submit written comments as set forth <br />in the Notice.
