<br />NOTICE OF INTENDED AMENDMENT OF <br />WETLANDS MITIGATION BANK FEE <br />To: The Mayor and City Councilors of the City of Eugene, and other interested persons. <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.020 of the <br />Eugene, Code,1971, the City Manager pro tem of the City of Eugene intends to amend the wetlands <br />mitigation bank fee as follows: <br />Wetlands Mitigation Bank Fee <br />,,. <br />~, <br />Current Fee <br />Mitigation Fee <br />$30,000/acre <br />Proposed Fee <br />$50,000/acre <br />The fee as proposed above has been recommended by staff, is consistent with applicable <br />policies and directives of the City Council to recover the cost of services from the direct beneficiaries <br />of those services; has been computed in a manner consistent with the requirements of the City's <br />agreement with the Oregon Division of State Lands and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and is <br />necessary in order to defray the costs associated with the wetland mitigation program. <br />Persons desiring to comment on the amendment shall submit written comments to the City <br />Manager, 777 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401, within 15 days from the date of posting and <br />publication as indicated below. The City Manager pro tem will consider the comments received, and <br />by administrative order establish the fee as proposed or as modified in response to comments, after <br />the expiration of the period for comment. <br />Dated this 22°d day of August, 2002. <br />James R.
