<br />ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br />of the <br />Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Oregon <br />Establishing a Residential Permit Parking Zone <br />For The North Side of S. 14 ~ Avenue's Half Block West of Mill Street <br />The Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />~._ <br />A. Administrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones <br />Regulations, provides that the designation of or removal of such permit. parking <br />zones would be effected by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br />B. On December 28, 1998, the City made the decision to admit on a trial <br />basis (~7anuary, 1999 - September 1999) the high density living area along the <br />north side of E. 14th Avenue between Mill Street and the alley to the west into <br />the Residential Permit Parking Program. <br />C. Notice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking <br />zone was given to property owners and tenants within the affected .area of the <br />proposed zone. <br />D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity <br />with the policies, regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in. <br />Administrative Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders <br />that: <br />1. The ,area described is hereby established as a residential permit <br />parking zone: <br />The north side of E. 14th Avenue from Mill Street to the alley to the west. <br />2. The zone shall be designated Zone B and shall allow 2-hour public <br />parking.between 7:00 a.m. and 6:0o p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal <br />holidays and except Zone B permitted vehicles. <br />3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone <br />designated herein may apply for a Zone B permit entitling the holder thereof to <br />preferential long-term parking at Zone B signed parking areas within the <br />designated zone for the 1999 permit year. <br />4.
