Exhibit A of <br />Administrative Order No. 58-99-16 <br />NOTICE OF INTENDED AMENDMENT <br />~ -' ~ OF THE SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT CHARGE (SDC) METHODOLOGY, <br />FEES, AND CREDITS <br />To: The Mayor and City Councilors of the City of Eugene, and other interested persons. <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the provisions of Sections 2.020, 7.705, and 7.710 <br />of the Eugene, Code, 1971, the City Manager of the City of Eugene intends to amend the City of <br />Eugene SDC Methodology by: <br />1) Revising the local wastewater SDC; 2) reflecting a 7.3% fee increase for the local <br />transportation, stormwater, and parks SDCs based on the City Engineer's review of the National <br />Construction Cost Index, published by the En~ ineering News-Record for the preceding twenty-four <br />months, which are periodically adjusted pursuant to Section 2.3 of the July 1,1998 SDC Methodology; <br />and 3) revising the regional Metropolitan Wastewater Management Commission (MWMC) wastewater <br />SDC fees and credits as calculated by MWMC as more particularly set forth in the Proposed Systems <br />Development Charge Methodology, September 1999, which shall be available for inspection at the <br />Eugene City Hall, Public Works Building Lobby, Permit And Information Center Lobby, and the Eugene <br />Public Library. <br />The proposed revisions to the Methodology and the fees are consistent with adopted policies and <br />ordinances of the city, in conformity with state law, and should be implemented effective September 15, 1999. <br />Persons desiring to comment hereon shall submit written comments to the City Engineer, Public Works <br />Department, 858 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401 within 30 calendar days from the first date of publication <br />and posting of this Notice as indicated below.
