I.. , <br />~~ - <br />ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 58-94- „ <br />of the <br />City Manager of the City of Eugene <br />ESTABLISHING RATES FOR MAINTENANCE SERVICES <br />FOR SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT AND GRINDING <br />The City Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows: <br />A. Section 2.020 of the Eugene, Code, 19.71 authorizes the City Manager to <br />determine and set fees and charges to be imposed by the City for services, goods, use of <br />municipal property, and licenses and permits. <br />B. In accordance with the procedures set forth therein, and the further <br />authority of Section 7.130 of the Eugene Code; 1971, on July 1, 1994 1 notified the <br />Mayor and City Council that l intended to increase the currently effective rates for <br />maintenance services for sidewalk replacement and grinding. The Notice was also <br />published in the Register-Guard newspaper on June 23-27, posted at two locations at City <br />HaH on June 23, 1994, and made available for inspection by interested persons at the <br />offices of the City Manager, 77.7 Pearl Street,.Room 105, .Eugene, Oregon 97401 during <br />normal ,business hours 18:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, exclusive of <br />holidays). The Notice provided that written comments would be received thereon for a <br />period of 15 days from 'the date of publication and posting. No comments were received <br />within the time or in'the manner required by the Notice. <br />- C. i find -that the rates set forth in Exhibit A hereto are consistent vvith <br />applicable policies and directives of the City Council, comparable to the rates established <br />in other jurisdictions for providing such services, and are necessary in order to comply <br />with the City Council's directive and the requirements of Section 7.130 of the Eugene <br />Code, 1971 that the rates charged #or these services recover the City`s full costs. <br />On the basis: of these findings, I order that:' <br />1. The rates set forth in Exhibit A hereto are hereby established as the .rates to <br />be charged for the engineering services for privately constructed public improvements as <br />set forth therein. <br />- 2.
