<br />ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER N0.58-96-12 <br />of the <br />AIRPORT MANAGER <br />CONCERNING NOTICE OF PROPOSED REVISION TO AIRPORT <br />LANDING FEE, TERMINAL BUILDING RENTAL RATE, AND <br />ADDITION OF A JOINT USE FEE. <br />The Airport Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows: <br />A. Authority is granted to the City Manager of the City of Eugene under Sections 2.440 to 2.442 <br />of the Eugene Code, 1971 to set fees and charges for the use of the Eugene Airport. The City Manager .has <br />fiuther delegated that authority to the Airport Manager under Airport Rule 8.4.2. <br />B. Pursuant to that delegated authority I issued Administrative Order No. 58-95-12-F on October <br />13,1995 establishing an Airport Fee Schedule. After investigating the fees charged at other airports, the City's <br />...policies on recovery of user fees, and the revenue needs of the Eugene Airport, I have determined that the landing <br />fee. set forth in. section 4 of the Airport Fee Schedule as well. as the terminal building rental rate set forth in <br />Section 5 of that Schedule should be revised, with a joint use terminal fee established, and the current provisions <br />for: "New Signatory" users deleted from both Sections 4 and 5, all as set forth in the Notice of Intended Fees <br />attached as Exhibit A hereto and incorporated herein'by reference. <br />On the basis of these findings, I order that: <br />1.. Copies of the Notice beprovided to-the Mayor and City Councilors, persons who have requested <br />notice;'persons currently paying such charges, posted at two locations at the Airport, published in the Register <br />Guard, a newspaper of general circulation within the City and be made available for interested persons at the.. <br />offices of the Airport Manager, 28855 Lockheed Drive, Eugene, Oregon 97402 during normal business hours <br />(8:00 a:m. to S:OO p.m., Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays). <br />2. All persons desiring to comment thereon shall submit written comments as set forth in the <br />` ;Notice.
