Vt _ <br />NOTICE OF INTENDED RULEMAKING <br />PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF TREE PRESERVATION <br />ADMINISTRATIVE RULE R-6.305 ' <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the authority contained in Sections 2.019 <br />and 6.305 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Manager Pro Tem of the City of Eugene, intends <br />to adopt proposed Amendments to Tree Preservation Administrative Rule R-6.305, which: <br />Establish definitions for street trees and heritage trees; establish new criteria for <br />permit approval; and clarify time frame for expiration of permits. <br />The proposed Amendments to Tree Preservation Administrative Rule R-6.305 are <br />necessary in order to be consistent with recently revised provisions of the Eugene Code, 1971, <br />and may be reviewed at the office of the City Manager, 777 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401 <br />during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays). <br />All persons wishing to comment thereon or object thereto must submit their comments or <br />objections to the City Manager, 777 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401, in writing, within thirty <br />(30) days of the date of the first publication hereof, as indicated below.
