ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. ~~--q~~ ~7 <br />~ of the <br />City Manager Pro Tem of the City of Eugene <br />CONCERNING NOTICE OF INTENDED FEES FOR <br />PROCESSING EROSION PREVENTION AND CONSTRUCTION <br />SITE MANAGEMENT .PRACTICES PERMITS <br />The City Manager Pro Tem of the City of Eugene finds as follows: <br />A. Sections 2.020 and 6..635 of the Eugene, Code, 1971 authorize the City Manager <br />to determine and set fees and charges to be imposed by the City for services, goods, use of <br />municipal property, and licenses and permits. Section b.635 of the Eugene Code, 1971 <br />specifically authorizes the Ciry Manager to establish fees to recover the City's costs and expenses <br />incurred in processing applications for erosion prevention permits. In accordance with the <br />procedures set forth therein, I therefore intend to establish those fees as set forth in the Notice of <br />Intended Fees attached as Exhibit A hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br />B. i find that the proposed fees set forth in Exhibit A hereto are consistent with <br />applicable policies and directives of the Ciry Council, including policies developed during the <br />Eugene Decisions process; comparable to the fees charged for similar services; and are necessary <br />in order to comply with the Council's directive to recover the City's costs and expenses in <br />processing such applications from the beneficiaries of those services. <br />C. Establishment of the proposed fees is in the public interest, 'and required by <br />provisions of the Eugene Code, 1971. ~ .: <br />On the basis of these .findings, I order that: <br />i. Copies of the Notice be provided to the Mayor and City Councilors, published. in <br />the Register Guard, a newspaper of general circulation within the City, posted at two locations <br />at City Hall, and be made available for interested persons at the City's Public Works Department, <br />Administration Division, 858 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401: <br />~- <br />2. All persons desiring to comment thereon shall submit written comments as set forth <br />in the Notice.
