Regional (MWMC) Wastewater System. <br />The City of:Eugene entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of <br />Springfield and Lane County which"established the Metropolitan Wastewater Management <br />Commission: ' On November 26, 1990, the Commission .adopted the Regional Facility <br />Equalization Charge which includes a .regional administrative charge.. In accordance with <br />the agreement, the City of. Eugene must adopt rates and .charges not less than those <br />required by the Commission. <br />The Regional Wastewater SDC is applied by the same method'to development <br />regardless of location either outside and inside the River Road/Santa Clara/Highway 99 <br />- Area. The Regional Wastewater SDC formula for calculating each element and application <br />of the Regional WastewaterSDC is determined by multiplying the applicable rate per EDU <br />or PFU or historicconsumption, by the unit of measure for the proposed development.; The <br />SDC .charge will be based on the: greater of calculations using either the City <br />methodologies or the current M1NMC Equalization Fee as adopted by the MWMC <br />Commission.
