Oregon <br />Establishing a Residential Permit Parking Zone <br />For the west side of Lawrence Stree 764-798 <br />The Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene finds that:.." <br />A. Administrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones Regulations,- <br />provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking zones would be effected <br />by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer.. <br />B. On March 11, 1997, the City received'an application signed by over 50% of <br />the adjacent property owners and tenants for designating a residential permit parking zone <br />for"the half.. block on the west side of Lawrence Street, from 76.4 through 798. <br />C. Notice. of-the City"s intent to establish a residential permit parking,. zone <br />was given to property owners and tenants within the affected area of the proposed zone.. <br />' D. The, proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity with <br />the policies, regulations. and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br />NOW; TFIEREFORE, <br />Based upon the above findings, andpursuant to the authority contained. in <br />Administrative Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders that: <br />1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit .parking. <br />zone: ' <br />The west side of Lawrence Street from 764 through 79'8. <br />2. the zone shall be designated Zone E and shall allow 2-hour public parking <br />between 7:00. a.m. and 6:.00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays and except <br />Zone E permitted.. vehicles. <br />3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within: the zone <br />designated herein may apply for a Zone E: permit 'entitling the holder "thereof to <br />preferential long-term parking at Zone E signed parking areas within the designated zone. <br />4.
