- '1 <br />ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER N0. 58-97-06-F <br />of the <br />AIRPORT MANAGER <br />REVISING TIIE AIRPORT SHORT TERM AND LONG TERM PARHING RATES <br />SET FORTH IN EXHIBIT A TO ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER N0.58-96-19-F. <br />The Airport Manager of the City.of Eugene finds as follows: <br />A. Sections 2.440 to 2.442 of the Eugene Code, 1971 authorize the .City Manager or designee to <br />set fees and charges for th~ use of the Eugene Airpork Under Airport Rule 8.4.2, the. City, Manager has delegated <br />than authority to the Airport Manager. <br />B. In accordance with the procedures set forth in Sections 2.440 to 2.442 of the Eugene. Code, 197.1, <br />on May 7, 1997 T issued Administrative Order No. 58-97-06 proposing an increasein-the short term and long <br />- term parking lot fees contained in Section 12 of the Airport Fee Schedule, as set forth in the Notice of Intended <br />Fees attached as Exhibit A thereto, <br />C. The Notice was provided to the Mayor and City Councilors, posted at two locations at the <br />Airport on May 13, 1997, published in the Register Guard, a newspaper of general circulation within the.City <br />on May 13,1997, and made available for inspection by interested persons at the offices of the Airport Manager, <br />28855 Lockheed Drive, Eugene, Oregon 97402 during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday . <br />through Friday, exclusive of holidays). The Notice provided that written comments would be received thereon <br />for a period of 15 days from the fast date of posting and publication. No comments were received within the time <br />or in the manner required by the Notice. <br />D. -After investigating the fees charged at other airports, the City's policies on recovery of user fees, <br />and the revenue needs of the Eugene Airport, I have determined that the short term and long term p arking lot fees. <br />set forth in Section 12 of the Airport Fee Schedule shoukd be increased, as proposed. <br />On the basis of these findings, I order that: <br />1. The short term and long term parking lot fees set forth in Section 12 of the Airport Fee Schedule <br />attached as Exhibit A to Administrative Order Na 5 8-96-19-F ,are hereby amended as set forth in Exhibit A <br />hereto, as of the effective date of this Order. <br />2.
