ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER.. <br />_ of the <br />' Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Oregon <br />Establishing a Residential Permit Parking Zone. <br />For the Sast Side of Harris Street Between <br />East 20th and East 21st Avenues <br />The Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />A. Administrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit .Parking Zones Regulations, <br />.provides that".the designation of or removal of such permit parking zones would be effected <br />by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br />B. On May 21, 1997, the City received an application signed by over 500 of the <br />adjacent property owners and tenants for designating a residential permit parking zone <br />for the east side of Harris Street between E 20th and E 21st Avenues. <br />C. Notice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking zone <br />was given to property owners and tenants within the affected area of the. proposed zone. <br />D. The proposed zone has been"reviewed and is found to be in conformity with <br />the policies, regulations and .criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the above "findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in <br />Administrative Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders that: <br />1. The area described is hereby. established as a residential permit parking <br />-zone • _ <br />The east side, of Harris Street between E 20th and E 21st Avenues. <br />2. The zone shall be designated Zone A and shall allow 2-hour public parking." <br />- between 9:00 a'. m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays and.. except <br />Zone A"permitted vehicles. <br />3. Persons residing "in or owning .residential property within -the zone <br />designated ,herein may apply for a Zone A permit. entitling .the holder thereof to <br />preferential long-term parking at Zone A signed parking areas within the designated zone.. <br />4.
