NOTICE OF INCREASE IN OFF-STREET PARKING PERMIT FEES; <br />INCREASE IN ON-STREET COMMUTER PERMIT FEES; AND REPEAL <br />OF THE BULK PURCHASE DISCOUNT. <br />To: The Mayor and City Councilors of the City of Eugene, and other interested persons. <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to.the provisions of Section 5.040 of the <br />Eugene Code, 1971, on August _, 2000 the City Manager of the City of Eugene issued <br />Administrative Order No. 53-00-06 adopting a revised Parking Fee Schedule & Regulations. The <br />revisions: <br />Amended Section A.1 of the Parking Fee Schedule and Regulations set forth in <br />Exhibit A to Administrative Order No. 53-99-03, to increase the monthly permit fee for off- <br />streetparking structures and surface lots by $3.00; <br />Made comparable changes to the current discount for rideshare permits, resulting in <br />an increase in the monthly permit fees; <br />Increased the swingshift permit fee by $1.00; <br />Repealed the bulk purchase discount provision; <br />Increased the commuter permit fee by $3.00, with a comparable increase in the <br />rideshare monthly permit fee; and <br />Ratified and affirmed the unamended rates and regulations, and repealed <br />Administrative Order No. 53-99-03. <br />The above fee increases are not subject to the maximum rates set forth in Section 5.285 of <br />the Eugene Code, 1971, are in the public interest, take- into consideration the applicable criteria of <br />Subsections 5.055(n)6. and 5.285(7), meet City budgetary requirements, and will become effective <br />at 12:01 a.m. on October 1, 2000. <br />Administrative Order No. 53-00-06, with the Parking Fee Schedule & Regulations attached <br />is available for review at the office of the City Manager, City Hall, 777 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon <br />97401 during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, exclusive of <br />holidays). <br />Any person aggrieved by this increase in the fees as noted above may file a written notice of <br />appeal with the City Manager in the manner provided in Section 5.045 of the Eugene Code, 1971 <br />within 30 days of the date of posting indicated below The notice of appeal shall be accompanied <br />by the appeal fee established by the City Manager pursuant to Section 2.020 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971. <br />James R Johnson <br />City Manager <br />Date of Posting: August ~ 2000 <br />EXhlblt B r:\adminord\fees\OOoffstreetexb.wpd(08/04/00) <br />
