ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 58-00-02 of the City Manager of the City of Eugene CONCERNING NOTICE OF INTENDED AMENDMENT AND RENAMING OF THE TREE PRESERVATION AND STREET TREE PROGRAM FEE SCHEDULE ESTABLISHED BY ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER N0.58-96-24-F The City Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows: A. Pursuant to the provisions of Sections 2.020, 6.330 and 7.280 of the Eugene Code, 1971, on February 28, 1997, Administrative Order No. 58-96-24-F was issued establishing the Tree Preservation and Street Tree Program Fee Schedule as set forth in Exhibit A thereto. B. Since adoption of those fees, changes have occurred with respect to some of the City's administrative practices, and the schedule should be renamed, some of the fees revised, and other fees ratified and affirmed. C. I find that the revisions to the fees as set forth in Exhibit A hereto are consistent with applicable policies and directives of the City Council, including policies developed through the Eugene Decisions process, are based on the City's estimate of the costs associated with providing the services, and are necessary in order to recover those costs from the beneficiaries of the services. On the basis of these findings, I order that: 1. Copies of the Notice be provided to the Mayor and City Councilors, posted at two locations at City Hall, be made available for interested persons at the Public Works Department, 1820 Roosevelt Blvd., Eugene, Oregon 97402, during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays), and published in the Register Guard, a newspaper of general circulation within the City. 2. All persons desiring to comment thereon shall submit written comments as set forth in the Notice. I will thereafter establish the fees by an administrative order.
